The Camp Hill police were called to "an active road rage incident" in the 300 block of South 32nd Street at 8:26 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, as stated in the department's release.
Arriving officers found a drunk 47-year-old man from Mechanicsburg, a 26-year-old man with an ice scraper from Enola, and the intoxicated man's assaulted passenger, according to the release.
An investigation determined the men had been driving along Route 581 when the road rage began, and it "escalated to the point where drivers of both vehicles and a passenger exited the vehicles in order to confront each other," the police said. During the fight, the Enola man allegedly used an ice scraper to assault the passenger.
The Mechanicsburg man was charged with driving under the influence and the Enola man was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and driving with a suspended license.
The men's names were not released, nor was the medical status of the ice scraper-attacked passenger.
